Earth is called भूकेन्द्रीय in Sanskrit, which means the round one and another word which means the one that rotates. And BHRAMANDA, a word for the universe means the infinite. You are asking for proof, why don’t you read the books of Aryabhatta, and other astrologers who knew about the 9 planets (now considered 8) as well as the dragon head and dragon tail (Rahu & Ketu) thousand years before telescope was invented.
Sanskrit says Earth is round and English says Sun rises in the west, whereas actually earth revolves around the sun.
Astronomy is incomplete without such geniuses. And yeah Indian astrologers knew the approximate distance of earth from the sun. Proof-
जुग सहस्त्र योजन पर भानु, लील्यो ताहिमधुर फल जानू !
भानु means sun, and
1 Juug = 12000
1 Sahastra= 1000
1 Yojan = 8 Miles
12000 X 1000 X 8 = 96,000,000 miles, which NASA has found to be true. Anything left, probably a lot!!!
In Galileo’s time, science did not have to decide between Ptolemy and Copernicus. Ptolemy’s view that all planets and the sun orbited the earth, was no longer a real option. Rather it is important, ‘that the choice now lay between Copernicus and Brahe,’ 69 because everybody believed that other planets orbited the sun. The question was, whether or not the earth was moving itself or was staying in the centre of the universe. ‘Nearly no expert believed in Ptolemaic astronomy any longer. The conflict was between Tycho Brahe and Copernicus.’ 70
Tom Rowlands is perhaps best known as one half of The Chemical Brothers, an electronic music duo formed with Ed Simons in 1992 and described by NME as “one of the most important groups in dance history”. Some of their biggest hit singles include: Hey Boy Hey Girl, Galvanize, Setting Sun, Go and Block Rockin’ Beats. To date, they have released eight studio albums, won four Grammy Awards, had six UK Number One albums and sold-out some of the world’s largest arenas. In addition to writing the soundtrack to Hanna, which won a Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award for Best Music Score in 2011, The Chemical Brothers’ work is also featured on Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan.
